At Barkmoral Day School we have a fully enclosed facility, far from any roads and industrious sounds, even our vehicles drive in secure gates and then are fully secured inside our daycare area.

Activities and enrichment 

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor grass areas within day school for different activities including agility, hoopers, chill time, sunbathing, pool time, herb searching, grass mazes ( in the summer once the grass is tall), and specific puppy and small dog zone.

Buildings

We have an over 200-year-old sandstone building that stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter, preventing the need for artificial air conditioning.

Our attached open-air barn is great for use when the weather is exceptionally rainy and we can be outside for less of the day as it allows us to be out in the air, but still undercover from the elements.

Chillin' in the Zen zone

With indoor and outdoor chill areas, those puppers and doggos who like to spend more of their time relaxing can find themselves in the paw-zen zone, in the cooler months, we offer doggos heated blankets in their downtime, and in the summer we have cold mats in various positions around the facility to allow dogs to relax and cool off.

First Aid

We have a full supply of first aid equipment on hand in case of any cuts, scratches, or indeed emergencies arise. Our staff are fully trained in canine first-aid and by your dog attending daycare, you consent to Barkmoral staff providing emergency first aid if required. 

If a veterinary professional is required within business hours and you are not contactable or emergency treatment is required, your dog will be taken to Struthers and Scott Veterinary Practice for emergency treatment.
