Why Barkmoral Day School?
All-day safety
One of the huge benefits of day school is that your dog is under watchful eyes from dawn til dusk (well, during opening hours) and spends minimal time home alone. We all know how much trouble our pups can get into whilst our backs are turned, so day school removes the worry of them being left unattended and unchecked for multiple hours at a time.

Socialisation
Socialising dogs isn't about letting dogs run wild together for a short time and then having them rest separately. All this does is teach the dog that other dogs mean extreme excitement and arousal. This can result in inappropriate interactions, unwanted behaviours, and even nervousness. Instead, in a supervised day school environment, we take time teaching dogs to disengage from interactions they feel are overwhelming and how to keep their play appropriate. We have a paws-off policy to ensure that dogs are not jumping on or pawing at each other not only can these behaviours be scary, but if a dog is experiencing pain, the last thing they want is someone pushing them around.

Consistent payment and care
Barkmoral Day School takes the guesswork out of pet care, by having a daycare membership with us, you can manage your Scooby Snack budget as payments are spread evenly over the year. You also won't need to book once your dog is on our schedule as they will attend every week on your chosen days unless you tell us they are having to sit a day out.
Enrichment and Training
Dogs at Barkmoral receive enrichment at every visit which can aid in their enrichment work at home, and the structure and constant behaviour management and training make for much more consistent dogs at home. By having professionals seeing your dog every week, changes in their behaviour are also more likely to be noticed quickly, including those that may require a veterinary professional's expertise.

OAP's (Old Age Puppies)
For those doggos later in life, day school can provide a steady environment where they can play and relax in the intervals that best suit their developmental needs. This means they can have supervised self-regulated play, rather than an enforced 'hours walk' for example which may be at a pace they cannot maintain for the full duration.

As a Barkmoral day school member, you will also be entitled to discounts in our store, and chauffeur-serviced clients can have their orders dropped off with their doggo after daycare.
