FAQ's

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

Yes, dogs must be fully vaccinated and receive annual boosters (including kennel cough for which a withdrawal period from day school may be required,  unless the intramuscular vaccine is used for which there is no withdrawal/drop-off period).

What if my dog is sick or I am on holiday and they cannot attend day school?

Please let us know as soon as possible at daycare@barkmoral.co.uk that they will not be attending. The payment system already allows for four full weeks of non-attendance meaning there is no need to worry about refunds, these days can be used at any time of year but we ask that you notify us in advance where possible.

Barkmoral day school is open for 48 weeks of the year 

Closures are notified in advance and are always available to view on the website.

What if I need to make changes to my membership?

Please let us know at daycare@barkmoral.co.uk with as much notice as possible if you add another dog to your family or need to change your dogs regular day. Day changes will be subject to availability but we will do our best to accommodate your new circumstances. All permanent changes will be made from the 14th of each month in line with the payment system. Any additional services provided between the change requested and the implementation are payable at time of booking.

What if I want to cancel?

Should you wish to cancel within three days of your membership starting, a refund will be provided minus the cost of any services provided and a £35 admin fee. Any services provided in this time frame will be deduced at full price of the standard single session rate. After this time, a one-month written notice is required for all cancellations of membership. Any services that fall outwith the payment made, must be paid for at the time of booking.

Do you offer home-boarding and training?

Barkmoral does offer home boarding on an exclusive membership. Training is available including full VIP days, training packages, dog download days and training classes. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
